Team Cold Steel/A-TOM-MIK & Fat Nancy's starts off the 2008 season winning the Lake Ontario Niagara Pro/Am Team Event -Pro Division- Over 90 total teams and 46 pro battled it out on the western end of Lake Ontario, what a feat and a team accomplishment we will remember forever, we fought hard and were forced to work a big fish program concentrating on mainly copper applications. 7 of the top 10 teams were "A-TOM-MIK Teams" many working similar programs to pull larger Kings than the rest of the fleet. We took home over $15,000.00 in cash and prizes to start our team fund off on a high note for the remaining 3 events stretch across the south shore of Lake Ontario. Our hunt will continue with hopes of taking home the coveted "Lake Ontario Challenge Cup" for the first time ever since competing together in 2001. Wish us well, Lake Ontario's best anglers are in the chase, we're just one team with the same desires amongst an elite field.

***  Team Thrillseeker Team Thrillseeker and their 2008 Tightlines Shootout win out of Bluffers Park Ontario Canada. Captain Vince joined the A-TOM-MIK Pro Staff Team in the summer of 2008 and this was their first win with us. The Thrillseeker name dates back to the early Pro/Am days on Lake Ontario as Vince led his teams to more wins than any tourney teams ever fishing Lake Ontario. I remember my first hand shake with the legend himself from a Pro/Am win of our own back in 2001 out of Oswego aboard the Cold Steel. Captain Vince seemed thoroughly satisfied as he was rewarded with the 2008 Tightlines Shootout 1st place spot. Talk about simultaneously enjoying the moment as I waited patiently in the field to see where his thanks were headed. As Vince mentioned A-TOM-MIK and thanked our product my knees almost buckled..............Thanks Vince for the representation and Congrats to your team for a well deserved win on the North Shore !!!

Lake Ontario's South Shore largest derby style event held faithfully for 20 years saw A-TOM-MIK flies taking
1ST, 2ND, 3RD, AND 4TH place in the King division for the Fall 2007 LOC. Also our products took an actual
11 Kings of the largest 20 over-all, an accomplishment never before granted to any manufacturer except
Northern King Lures. We are very pleased with this results, just goes to show the effectiveness of our trolling flies !! ***  Team Liquid Plumber 28.11 lb. Salmon An A-TOM-MIK fly won the 2007 Summer LOC Derby: 41 days worth of angling along the entire South shore of Lake Ontario yielded the following:

The field limited to 40 boats saw some of the biggest names in the business, just to come out #1, what a feat !!! This is win #2, 2 years in a row for the A-TOM-MIK Pro Staff Team led my Matt and son Eric Santoro !!!!! Key fish came on Spin Doctors and A-TOM-MIK T100 and T107. One other hot rig was ran off a 200' section of our .037 copper. Great job men, way to go. Certainly a steaming victory back to back. !!! WOW !!! I think it's safe to say Matt has that new North Coast dialed in !! |

 Team Screamer yet again with another win, 3 years in a row for the Fair Haven Challenge, the win was by a very narrow margin but to pull of this victory was an achievement deserved. The confident but proud look on Dave's face (center) in this image says it all, Dave plays to win and expects success from himself in every event he enters. The Fair Haven Challenge saw over 50 entrants in August, 2007, most of who knew they would be chasing Dave and Joe for the victory. Dave quote's: "Friends make a smaller lake" as he often sells boats all week at Northeast Marine, in Blakely Pa., leaving only weekends to participate in local Tourneys and Derbies. Some key info for this win he attributes to Andy Bliss (Cold Steel) and Kevin Davis (Hat Trick), close friends who also compete against Team Screamer time and again, but who also welcome the fierce competition Dave consistently brings. Great job Dave !!!!!!!!! Many anglers will continually wonder how you do it, but your skills speak for themselves !!!

The 3rd annual Fair Haven Challenge winners for 2006', Team Screamer again !!! We landed almost every strike generated to capture the win out of a 30 boat field.   Team Sparks an avid A-TOM-MIK Team takes first place in the Oswego Pro/Am on the am side out of Oswego. 2008 has been a good year for Team Sparks, the team has been taking plenty of big Kings also placing several in the 2008 summer LOC Derby. Great job guys !!!!! |
 1st place in the 2008 Summer LOC Derby Tom Allen and Tommy Germain with their 29.09 lb King Salmon that took 1st place in the 2008 Summer LOC Derby, 10 out of 21 final entries were taken on A-TOM-MIK Flies this summer. This King was a great catch and held the lead for over 3 weeks. The Summer LOC always finds many anglers winning cash on our products, 1st, 2nd and a total of 4 places were also taken in the Rainbow division. |
