It is now late Spring 2009, A-TOM-MIK has been in the business for roughly 7 years, we have grown to over 20 Pro Staff members presently. As I sit here and think and reflect on why we are still here and going strong, the only thought that comes to mind is our Pro Staffers, thanks again guys, I owe you the world. I would also like to mention this: We now receive approx. 50 requests a year to be an A-TOM-MIK Pro Staffer, one thing I never realized before until now was each and every Pro Staffer we currently have never ask to be on our Pro Staff. Odd huh (: but true !!
Lil Flipper Charters: *** Jill and Donny Rufo are no longer with us here in Oswego, they have moved on to new interests outside of Oswego County. Everyone who knew the Rufo's during their 20+ year stay in Oswego will surely miss their welcoming personalities. If ever you may meet a more friendly pair of fisherman who lived our Lake Ontario fishery, please let us know, they were one of a kind. I remember my 2 childrens first experience on the big water ("Tom" & "Mik") aboard the "Lil Flipper", at ages 4 and 5, Jill and Donny took us out every year on lil Tommy's B-day, these are experiences that will never be forgotten. Thanks Jill and Donny for many years of entertainment and helping with our small business by representing us, you are a big part of the reason why we are still here today, you will always be remembered!! *** |

Pro StaffThe "A-TOM-MIK" name stands for my son Tommy ("TOM") and my daughter Mikayla ("MIK") with the ("A") from our last name being "Allen". A Pro Staff is meant to be many things, more so now days than ever a Pro Staff is what it takes for longevity in the business. As manufacturers come and go the ones you see sticking around are certainly doing something right. Making a go of it now days in one of the hardest fields to conquer, the tackle trade, does not come easy and certainly does not come without help. The A-TOM-MIK Pro Staff consists of "Seasoned Salts" and "Internet Guru's", "Tourney Anglers" and "Weekend Warriors" and also some of the "Young Guns" of the future! To be associated with each is what it takes we feel to make the grade in the industry of today. Our "Team Players" all share a common passion for the products we are building. By no means are there endless supplies of free product being distributed around, in many cases our guys are purchasing right off the shelf. The popular A-TOM-MIK name has grown on this passion, and on serious friendships that have come together to build a superior product. What we share are like interests in great lakes angling, helping one another by creating the next best thing. Ultimately putting fish (Kings) in the boat for clientele, tourney's and for weekend fun! Of course you, "The Great Lakes Angler" are also the ones reaping the reward of the hard work coming together from A-TOM-MIK !! Thanks to our great team of Pro Staffers, A-TOM-MIK is still here today, right on top of the ball and ready to create that next slice of bread. Thanks guys for helping fulfill our dream............. *** Please note the information below is just a broad overview, these professionals have much more to their credit that is not stated ***

Team Two Fish Karl Chmilnitzky, Wayne Hazelwood and son Kyle hail from Caledon, Ontario Canada and are some fierce tournament anglers competing in all major Canadian and U.S. events. The KOTL is their favorite, finishing in several top ten positions with two salmon masters wins, and also a St. Catherine's fish and game win. Consistency is the key to success Karl feels in competitive salmon fishing on Lady O, they placed a solid 5th overall in the 2009 KOTL series. The best way to be consistent is with the best equipment like A-TOM-MIK flies the team states, this constantly producing big king catch programs. Note from A-TOM-MIK: The setting was later August, Oswego NY 2009, 7 miles from Oswego Harbor, it was a rough 2nd day of the 2009 KOTL Scotty, in Oswego, with only a few boats working some lone water west of port, Team A-TOM-MIK kept witnessing this vessel when our plot lines crossed, never realizing this sole Canadian vessel had found a small piece of the promise land that Team A-TOM-MIK had fished for several weeks. Come time to weigh-in we realized who that Canadian vessel was captained by, Karl: Team Two Fish !!! Wow, this dude from across the lake was tapping my home waters, even dragged his vessel right to the front door of my Oswego home to get a bit of A-TOM-MIK product. We feel well presented by Karl and team !!!! | ||||||

| Eric Marcinkowski & Team Striker Sportfishing, Eric Marcinkowski and Team Striker from Syracuse NY are yet another team to watch while visiting the scene of any Lake Ontario tourney style event. Eric has been on teams that have won back to back King of The Lake titles in 2007 and 2008, more wins to list than we have room for, another one of them names that is an automatic reminder of teams normally placing on top. Eric purchased a 10 meter Trojan for more tourney outings in 2009 and will also join the many looking to take down a "King of The Lake" title, but for Eric it will be the chance at an unprecedented 3 in a row "King of The Lake" title's for 2009. A-TOM-MIK has found another home aboard Striker to maintain that ut-most posture and presents in a competitive field of players and lure manufacturers. Eric is an aggressive player who uses the skills of the trade to compete with the best anglers leaving most at a disadvantage before they leave the dock. This strength also flows into input coming into us as we converse with Eric looking for the next best thing. Our glow Hammer fly at times is ran off the back of the Trojan in 4 or 5 positions !!! Good Luck Eric with "King of The Lake" #3, we wish you the best bud !!!!
Crazy Yankee Sportfishing, Western Lake Ontario, Captain Richard Hajecki has chased King Salmon on Lake Ontario since the age of 5. Some of that success is seen in past LOC derby finishes and top 10 Pro-Am finishes, with the 2007 Orleans Pro-Am resulting in a win with the help of an A-TOM-MIK hammer fly. Captain Rick runs a part time charter business where he prides himself on following the HUGE school of Salmon as the migrate from their Spring haunts in the Western Basin to their final destination in the Eastern Basin.
